Delivery information

Everything you need to know before your bricks arrive: what it costs, how long it takes, how the pallet gets off the lorry and what the driver needs on site.

How tail-lift delivery works

Bricks arrive packed on pallets. Here's what to expect on the day.

  1. 1

    We call to book

Once your order is placed, we ring to confirm your delivery date and talk through access.

  2. 2

    The vehicle arrives

A tail-lift vehicle parks as close as it safely can to your drop-off point.

  3. 3

    Pallets are lowered

Each pallet goes down on the tail-lift, then the driver moves it with a pallet pump truck.

  4. 4

Set down on a hard surface

The pallet is left on a hard, level surface near the vehicle, ready for your build.

Where can the pallet go?

Pallet pump trucks have small, hard wheels. They need a firm, level surface to roll on, so the driver can only move pallets over the surfaces below.

Suitable

  • Concrete
  • Tarmac
  • Block paving

Not suitable

  • Grass
  • Gravel
  • Loose stones
  • Slopes

If there’s no hard, level surface near where the vehicle can park, a crane offload may be the answer. Talk to us before you order and we’ll help you plan it.

Crane offload

For sites without a hard standing, or where pallets need lifting over a wall or fence onto a drive or garden.

  • Quoted job by job, based on your site and the size of the order.
  • Orders over 4 packs may be crane offloaded with no surcharge.
  • You can request a crane offload at checkout, or ask for a quote here first.
  • Tell us about overhead cables, trees, narrow lanes or weight limits so we send the right vehicle.

Request a crane offload quote

We'll check access and come back to you with a price.

Where the pallets need to go, distance from the road, and anything overhead or in the way.

Delivery questions

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery starts from £85.00 ex VAT (£102.00 inc VAT) per pack to UK mainland addresses or £350.00 ex VAT for 5 packs or more. The exact price for your postcode appears in your basket and at checkout before you place the order.

How long will my bricks take?

Stocked items usually arrive in 3–5 working days. Remote Highland postcodes take a little longer. Made-to-order bricks have their own lead time, which we’ll confirm with you.

Will you call before delivery?

Yes. After you order we call to book your delivery slot, so you can make sure someone’s around and the drop-off point is clear.

Do I need to be in?

It helps, but it isn’t essential if the driver can safely leave the pallet on a hard, level surface. Tell us where in the delivery notes at checkout.

Can I get my order faster?

Express delivery is available on request. Call 0330 133 6162 with your order details and we’ll tell you what’s possible.

Do you deliver to islands?

Not through the website. Island and offshore postcodes need a separate quote, so please call 0330 133 6162.

How are brick slips delivered?

Brick slips and accessories ship as parcels, so there’s no pallet to unload. Delivery is a flat £65.00 ex VAT (£78.00 inc VAT) per order, free when you order 30 or more boxes of slips (accessories such as spacers don’t count towards the 30). Ordered with bricks, they come on the brick pallet at no extra charge.

Questions about your delivery?

Tell us about your site and we'll help you choose the right unloading method, or arrange an express or crane delivery.
